In this role you will:

  • Perform manual testing of API and UI for Wallarm products, using tools such as Postman, curl and mitmproxy

  • Conduct manual regression testing and verify new functionality, including acceptance testing

  • Prepare and maintain test documentation (test cases, test plans) and create defects with detailed descriptions

  • Reproduce and validate reported issues, analyzing logs and traces to identify root causes

  • Launch automated tests in GitLab CI, analyze results using Allure and collaborate with developers to address issues

  • Run Python and Ruby scripts for testing and troubleshooting purposes

  • Conduct demos of new functionality for stakeholders

Job requirements

In this role you’ll need:

  • Strong manual testing skills (mid-level+)

  • Solid experience working in Linux environments (backend testing will be performed in Linux)

  • Understanding of testing theory, test design techniques and testing documentation

  • Experience with UI and API testing

  • Knowledge of HTTP, REST API, RPC, GraphQL

  • Proficiency with tools like Curl, Postman, JSON, XML

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Test Management Systems

Will be a plus:

  • Basic knowledge of Kubernetes

  • Ability to read and understand Python code or analyze traces

  • Experience with Docker

  • Familiarity with mitmproxy, grep, jq

  • Background in the cybersecurity domain
