Job description

Since 2016, Wallarm has been on a mission to secure the internet's critical infrastructure: APIs. Today, we are the trusted choice for over 200 of the world's most innovative companies, from high-growth startups to Fortune 500 and Nasdaq leaders. Our unified platform provides full-lifecycle API security — helping teams discover their attack surface, protect against modern threats, and respond to incidents in real-time. As a graduate of Y Combinator and fueled by a recent $55M Series C, we are scaling our global, remote-first team of 170+ innovators to solve the next generation of security challenges.

About the role:

At Wallarm, our mission is to make API security simpler and more accessible — empowering engineers to focus on what matters most. As a Senior Product Designer, you will work across our platform on diverse projects — often cross-functionally — shaping experiences that help security engineers do their jobs better. You’ll dive into complex flows and data-heavy UIs, bringing clarity and usability to a highly technical audience. In this role, you’ll partner closely with PMs, engineers, and customers. If you’re excited about creating practical, elegant solutions in a challenging domain — we’d love to talk!

What you’ll do:

  • Own the full design cycle of features — from idea to launch, iterating based on insights from user research and quantitative data

  • Collaborate with PMs and engineers to define problems and deliver high-quality solutions quickly

  • Gather and structure requirements — turning raw and technical input into clear design/product tasks for yourself and the team

  • Conduct discovery, interviews, and usability testing to validate ideas

  • Create sketches, prototypes, and high-fidelity visuals to communicate design direction

  • Work closely with engineers and teammates to ensure a high-quality design implementation

  • Work with and contribute to Wallarm’s design system, building reusable and scalable components

  • Support the evolution of our SDLC and product processes

  • Partner with brand designers to bridge the gap between the platform UI and brand identity

Job requirements

What we’re looking for:

  • 5+ years in product design, with a strong portfolio that showcases impact (we expect at least one detailed case study)

  • Proven end-to-end product design experience

  • Background in B2B SaaS or dev-tooling (preferably) platforms

  • Skilled at designing for complex, technical, and data-heavy interfaces

  • Strong visual/UI taste—you know what great design looks like and push to reach it

  • Familiarity with AI toolset for faster validation, prototyping or discovery

  • A proactive and independent IC who owns their scope while collaborating well across teams (comfortable working closely with engineers)

  • Comfortable gathering and acting on feedback, with humility and adaptability

  • Strong communication skills (English B2+), able to present and justify design decisions clearly — advocate for what you feel is right

  • Experience with analytics to inform design decisions

  • Ability to write concise, user-friendly interface copy

Nice-to-haves:

  • Experience designing dev-tooling or data-visualization products

  • Hands-on experience creating and scaling design systems

  • Strong stakeholder management skills

What we offer:

  • Ability to work on a product that makes the Internet safer;

  • Completely remote work and flexible working hours;

  • Paid days off;

  • Medical insurance;

  • Working equipment;

  • Professional development and career growth.
